INSTALLATIONS

Au-delà de ce que peut exprimer chaque sculpture de façon individuelle, leur mise en scène en tant qu’ensemble m’attire tout particulièrement. J’envisage une installation non pas comme un assemblage hasardeux d’œuvres, mais comme une entité possédant sa propre logique et une identité - notamment spatiale - clairement définie. Je souhaite ainsi proposer des installations qui se veulent être un monde en soi, une bulle propice à l’immersion.
Certaines sculptures, en invitant le spectateur à contribuer à l'évolution de l’œuvre, le rendent enfin acteur, le mettant véritablement face à des choix et donc à lui-même.

ENGLISH:
Beyond what each sculpture can express individually, their staging as a whole particularly draws my attention. I conceive an installation not as a random assemblage of works, but as an entity with its own logic and a clearly defined identity — particularly a spatial one. I therefore aim to create installations that function as worlds in themselves, bubbles conducive to immersion.
Some sculptures, by inviting the viewer to contribute to the evolution of the work, ultimately make them an active participant, confronting them with choices — and thus with themselves.

ALVEOLE  

"Approchez de l’alvéole. Veuillez pénétrer cet espace et en user, voire en abuser, tout comme nous le faisons avec Elle. Et si les ténèbres se font parfois trop menaçantes, l’espoir irraisonné subsiste malgré tout. Alors tout va bien.”  

 "Approach the alveolus. Please enter this space and make use of it — even abuse it — just as we do with Her. And if darkness at times becomes too threatening, unreasonable hope nevertheless persists. So, everything is fine."

RENDEZ-VOUS STATION 9

"Le rendez-vous en station 9 est très certainement celui de l’espoir. L’espoir de surmonter les épreuves et d'accéder à la vérité. Sa propre vérité. L’espoir de mettre ainsi fin à l’errance et de créer les conditions d’une paix intérieure durable. Car c’est peut-être cela l’essentiel d’une vie."

"The encounter at Station 9 is most certainly one of hope. The hope of overcoming trials and gaining access to truth — one’s own truth. The hope of thus bringing an end to wandering and creating the conditions for lasting inner peace. Because, perhaps, this is what truly matters in a life."
